Hi big DigiByte family! Well I have been surfing the web for two days finding any kind of tutorial for dummies on how to mine DGB! Well I learned many things so far but didn't succeed with my original purpose, mine successfully.

So I tried many pools, digihash, blockchain., supernova, either did not work or I was getting 100% invalid hashrate. I have a R9 290 I think it was, anyway an AMD, so I can't do the CC miner because I have no CUDA cores. Tried sgminer and cgminer but I messages like stratum network restarting, difficulty lvl dropping infinitely and nothing is moving. To sum up, doesn't work! So if there is any kind person around here to explain kinda step by step on how to do it, I would be very pleased! Gulden NLG Mining Buy.

Depends on the algorithm you are mining. There are lot more miners than there used to be so it depends on how much hashrate the pool has vs the net hash of the algorithm on the coin.

The more hashrate the pool has the faster they will find blocks, but if there are a bunch of new miners not on that pool the rate of blocks will decrease including the share of the coins being earned. This is just a fact of DGB becoming an ever more popular coin to mine. There is also an element of luck involved with finding blocks so you might find two block within minutes of one another and then it might be another two hours before the next block is found. It all depends. Overall though if the pools are finding several blocks a day you will get your equivilent share regardless of the pool you mine on.
