Starting next week it will be translated to stay in line with the languages available in the app and on the web wallet. Go to our new website and you’ll find a pretty huge announcement: we are now members of GSMA. GSMA represents the interests of nearly 800 mobile operators across the world, and we are t. He very first cryptocurrency to join the organisation.

Jan 11, 2018 - Guide on how to use the Electroneum wallet, the mining and sending ETN to Cryptopia Come chat. You can create what is called a paper wallet at this address: Official Paper Wallet Electroneum. Just click on. If this is the first time you launch it, type the name you want to give to your wallet, eg 'wallet1'. Nov 08, 2017 I have a number of GPU rigs that I used to get early in mining ETN when difficulty was not that. Electroneum is popular, I must say. Miners are still heavily. Nov 05, 2017 I noticed this electroneum coin called 'ETN' has been listed in Cryptopia. The early miners has already dump the coin.
As members, we’ve been invited to exhibit at GSMA’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. With that, we’re now perfectly positioned to accelerate Electroneum’s integration into the world of mobile payments. And alongside this, we’re delighted to reveal the first of a series of videos we have produced from an extended interview between Richard and journalist Graham Jarvis. In this excerpt Richard discusses the concept behind mobile mining, and how he sees it impacting the world of cryptocurrency. It’s particularly relevant today because, as you may know, we’ve been heavily beta testing our mobile miner, rolling it out to more than 20,000 beta testers.
You’ll be happy to hear that so far the results have been excellent. Unfortunately cryptocurrencies are still seen as the Wild West and in part that is due to the cowboys out there running fake or misleading ICOs, sucking people in with no intention of developing a viable currency or moving crypto forward. We can see why Facebook has felt the need to act - consumers need to be protected – it’s just a shame this ban has to be so heavy-handed as it risks punishing genuinely well-intentioned businesses and technologies.
However, consumer protection is important and hopefully as more regulation comes in around cryptocurrencies and ICOs, Facebook will be able to provide access again. This ban comes at a time when lots of governments and international organisations are discussing regulating cryptocurrency. We'd like to be clear - we're in favour of regulation.
We think, for the protection of consumers and the longevity of cryptocurrency, regulation is necessary and inevitable. The time is right for prospective regulators to reach out and have proper conversations with the voices in cryptocurrency about how to bring in productive regulation that A) protects people and builds trust and B) does not hinder innovation. We will have a video out soon that will have Richard discussing in some depth his views on crypto regulation - keep your eyes peeled for it! ***COMMUNITY ALERT*** Following our concerns about misinformation being pushed out across many chat rooms, it clearly seems that we are now being targeted for a forced price reduction. We understand that the updates we posted on Sunday evening have made a more marked impact than we expected.
The travesty is that growing unrest is largely being driven by a number of people who missed our ICO and now, seeing the popularity of ETN, want to buy in cheap, without any of the tru. E belief we all have, and certainly no sense of ethical practise, they only see the potential for our coin to make themselves a quick buck. This destructive transaction strategy is aimed at driving the ETN price down, so they can buy in cheap and then flip their strategy to push a sharp rise, allowing them to selfishly play the margins to their own benefit. These miscreants tend to spread fear, uncertainty or doubt (FUD), which prompts others to lose faith and prematurely sell coins at low prices. They are attempting to discredit our statements, publishing misrepresented quotes and questioning our good faith and solid protocols.
Examples of these completely fabricated claims include: >>Electroneum is an MLM/Ponzi Scheme - NOT TRUE!! >>Electroneum will never be listed on major exchanges - NOT TRUE!! >>The Electroneum team is keeping ETN on one exchange on purpose to manipulate the price - NOT TRUE!!
These accusations, and any other statements casting doubt on our progress and pipeline, are all COMPLETELY UNFOUNDED. They are LIES BEING SPREAD TO DAMAGE OUR STATUS and open the opportunity for deceitful individuals to use us. All the info we share with you is absolutely 100% genuine, and we hope that, by making you aware of what is going on, you will manage to avoid any of the FUD, and that you'll maintain your belief and support for our vision. As we develop our plans to integrate Electroneum with FanFare’s ecosystem, we are excited for the opportunities we can work on together to build even more value for our precious coins.
This latest announcement adds to our ever-growing portfolio of partners, helping us drive a successful future, and to further open the gateways for our ultimate goal of mass market adoption. We’ll bring you more info on this huge partnership soon and, please don’t forget, we are busy forging even more new deals, and will announce as soon as the ink has dried. As always, thank you all for all your support! The Electroneum Team. We would be grateful if everyone could please check their email to see if you are one of the lucky first group of testers.
Once we have completed this round of testing we plan to roll it out to more people to test the scalability of the miner, allowing many more applicants to gain access to the mobile miner. At this stage we will also be adding some additional features. This is a great step forward as the mobile miner gives access to a huge new market, the unbanked. We will be able to give people in some developing countries access to earn digital currency for free, in places where they don’t even have a bank account. As well as accessing the unbanked, this will add to the agreements we have in place where Electroneum holders and miners can offset the cost of their phone bill with ETN.
This is another step on our goal to mass adoption. Chris Gorman Director.
Since launching at the end of 2017 we have sent shockwaves through the cryptocurrency world by quickly gaining 750,000 users, reaching a c.$700m market cap and giving it’s 120,000 initial contributors up to 2200% returns. Litecoin LTC Mining Reward Calculator there. Over $513m of ETN has been traded despite only listing on one exchange until now and being live for just over 2 months. Our strategy is markedly different from other cryptocurrencies. We have developed a unique mobile mining app, which will allow the coin to become accessible to people all over the world. Users in developing countries can earn ETN by running the app in the background.
This airdrop of coins will then be acceptable as payment for their phone data and more. Furthermore, the app will soon feature an easy PayPal-style payment gateway, allowing vendors to accept Electroneum at the touch of a button. With the likes of Xius and Effortel, we have partnerships agreed with multinational telecoms corporations in the developing world to make all this a reality, with more expected in the coming weeks. This strategy enables Electroneum to make cryptocurrency available to tens of millions of new users, making it the first truly mass adopted cryptocurrency.
For you, our community, these developments are made all the more exciting by our listing on HitBTC, where you will have another platform to buy and sell coins. You have inspired us with your belief in Electroneum and we’re excited to be able to reward your patience.
HitBTC is the perfect exchange for us because the team behind it mirror our passion for pushing cryptocurrency to the next level. Integration is underway and we will keep you up to date with this and more exchanges in the coming weeks.
Have a good weekend. Richard Ells. ETN & NEW EXCHANGES It's official!
We are pleased to announce that we working with NEXT.EXCHANGE, which will soon allow you to transact and trade your ETN. We estimate that we'll be up and running within 3 weeks or so as our devs continue to work closely with their peers at NEXT.EXCHANGE, working together to make sure that we meet all the criteria we need, and that our precious coins are in good hands. As you may already know, the CEO of EHI and Titanium - Michael Stollaire. - is working with ETN.
Michael is helping us filter and find the right exchanges for our burgeoning business. He has vast experience and contacts, both of which will be incredibly valuable when negotiating ETN's listing, and we expect to have more news for you soon. Michael has quickly become fully engaged with the team, and is driving change at a startling rate.
As of today, we already have 3 exchanges in fast track application, and, much as we'd love to share all the details with you right now, the strict application criteria has our lips firmly sealed! I'm sure you'll all appreciate that any leaks could seriously hamper our application process, which would only cause frustrating delays. That said, we shouldn't need to wait too long to hear the announcement from the exchanges. As Michael powers on, it is already very clear that we have torn holes through the stratosphere to get to this point. It's a waiting game now, so let's be patient as the process takes its course while we build great foundations for our coin.
In closing, let’s remember we have been live for just 2 months, and we've made huge advances that other coins can only dream of in such a short time. A major part of our success is because of you guys, the community. You are the reason, you are the drivers of change and we LOVE YOU for all your amazing support. Over the past few weeks, some of you have experienced transactional issues which have generated many support tickets, particularly relating to incomplete transactions.
We are aware of the problem we have now identified the cause and, as a result, we are implementing a number of substantial changes to our back end transactional system. More enhancements are planned over the coming week, delivering significant transaction handling improvements across other areas such as error handling, volume, success rate and scalability. Before we launched, we had designed the system and, under load, ran various test environments, all of which scaled nicely. Now we’re in a real environment that is much larger than we ever could have imagined, new issues have emerged such as worker nodes occasionally being out of sync but reported as being in-sync; and some transactional anomalies and corrupted wallets have occurred because of this. We are repairing wallets as fast as possible, and appreciate the patience of those affected as we await the time needed to re-build and sync with the blockchain. This sounds a little scary but please don’t worry, a corrupted wallet does not impact your balance on the blockchain – we can always recover it.
So, what else? We’ve made improvements to our node servers and are adding new code to verify, and double verify, that the node is in sync with the master blockchain before allowing a transaction to take place. We also have new code being released that detects and automatically rebuilds corrupted wallets as soon as they’re identified, plus many, many more changes that will enhance speed and function.
Next week, once all these code enhancements have been deployed, we’ll work through any other outstanding anomalies to make sure everyone’s transaction list is accurate and up to date. During this period, we’d be so very grateful if you could try to avoid raising any more support tickets. This is because, as a known issue being actioned, these will not be registered since the work being done should resolve the issues.
As always, our thanks for your continued support! What Determines The Value Of A DigiByte DGB more.
