How Many Experience Points XP Have Been Mined To Date

Leveling up new toons can be a grind, and many people spend their first few weeks running Watchers Tomb 4, Kraken Mines 3 or Kraag Tombs 4 endlessly (see this link for a great KT4 strategy courtesy of Serancha and the Pheonix guild). This doesn't have to be the case, as there are 4950 XP in daily. Ever since Duolingo removed the XP bar, many users have tried to come up with an easy and effective way to display how many XP are left until the next level, and I believe this is by far the easiest and most effective method to date. It's called [DuoCheck](javascript:var%20r=';var%20l=duo.user.attributes.languages. You first need to identify where and when a shooting star is going to fall. And how much of the current layer has been mined. Total Emercoin EMC Mined. Mining Experience. Three service packs have been released for Windows XP. Date of January 31, 2009.' Mine Asteroids, Level Ships, and Experience Improved Multiplayer in v1.8 of Galactic Civilizations III New features, updates, and adjustments to the base game. For a full list, see the change log below! Asteroid Mining Looking for a get rich quick scheme?

Well, this may not quite fit the bill, but it will fill your pockets! Choose an asteroid in your zone of control and build an Asteroid Mining Base. When completed, it will send raw production to a planet of your choice.

Make sure to keep an eye out for your enemies, though -- these bases are fragile and easily destroyed. New Planet List There are a lot of planets out there just waiting to be discovered! This new planet list allows you to keep track of the planets you've already found so that when you go back to colonize them later, they're much easier to find. Ship Leveling Win battles and survey anomalies to level up your vessels!

Most ships will gain additional hit points as they gain experience and Mercenary Ships will improve based on their existing abilities, which makes them a lot more relevant in the late game. Star Information Window Click on a star to see all colonizable worlds within that system. Organize your empire by renaming stars with your own name scheme - or, draw inspiration from your favorite Sci-Fi series! Multiplayer Improvements Enjoy new stability in your games online with friends! The game has been updated to allow for increased ship movement during multiplayer matches and a host of fixes for issues that could cause desyncs. For more information on v1.8, check out the change log below! CHANGELOG: Asteroid Mining • Asteroids within your ZOC can be mined. Each Mining base costs 500 credits and takes 3 turns to build. • Mined Asteroids will provide a raw production bonus to the nearest planet.

The bonus is reduced by distance. You can reassign the receiving planet. • If the ZOC changes, the Mining Base will be automatically flipped. • Mining Base can be attacked and blown up by enemy fleets.

• Mined Asteroid map icons are tinted to their faction's color. • Colonies can be decommissioned for scorched earth tactics • You can rename Mining Bases by clicking on their name in the context panel • Note: The Asteroid Mining feature will require starting a new game.

Star Information Window • You can now click on a star to see colonizable worlds within that solar system. • Clicking on one of the planets will select it on the strategic map. • Click on a star's name to rename it. Uncolonized Planet List The Colonies list now has two sections: Colonized and Uncolonized Planets. Uncolonized Planets lists out the planets you've discovered but haven't colonized yet. Both sections are collapsible and are independently sorted. Ship Leveling • Ships gain experience through winning battles and surveying anomalies.

This experience translates into a ship level. • Ships gain additional HP as they level up. • Mercenary ships gain additional bonuses.

Improved Multiplayer experience Refactored movement and events systems to reduce the number of stuck turns and desyncs during multiplayer. These changes should have no gameplay effects. Increased the movement speed of ships only in multiplayer.

Gameplay • Diplomacy Statistic bonus increased from 2 to 3 • Conquest Victory Goal is not active until after turn and the player has a reasonable military • Easy target modifier now takes trade routes into effect and reduces the impact accordingly if the player is trading with them • Ships In ZOC diplomatic modifier takes into account how many ships are in the ZOC. If it's just 1, it tends to let that slide. • Added recommended player counts to each galaxy size. When you choose a galaxy size, you can choose to automatically add the recommended number of players to the game.

Bug Fixes • Fixed a potential issue when setting a destination for a fleet that can move and immediately hitting 'end turn' • Iconian Defenders will no longer respawn after being attacked by a faction with the 'Scavenge' ability. • Prevented a crash if a mod tries to reference a missing sound file • Right-aligned the values for the lobby details section to account for differences in length of the titles for various languages. • Planets can be renamed again • The Lobby Window was being hidden unnecessarily when clicking the Invite Friends button. It now stays visible in the background. • Fixed various places where long names (planet, shipyard, or starbase) would break out of their frames.

• Fixed issue that prevented allies from using the 'declare war on' offer during trade. • Fixed crashes caused by canceling a starbase modules. • Fixing an issue where canceling mining starbase modules on a starbase with claimed resources caused the starbase to remove the queued modules incorrectly. • Fixing a tooltip where it would say you can't build you because the module is claimed by another starbase, when in fact it was claimed by the current starbase and the warning is in error. • Fixed typos in the description for the 'Precious Metals' planet feature • Logistics now shown with decimal values. Previously, value was being rounded in the UI and which in some cases, made it appear that a fleet had room for another ship. • Re-implemented the round robin colonization event mechanism to be simpler and also functional.

This should fix problems with colony events not firing after the list is exhausted. I'm trying to figure out the precise meaning of: • Diplomacy Statistic bonus increased from 2 to 3 [what is the 'Diplomacy Statistic' used for?] • Conquest Victory Goal is not active until after turn and the player has a reasonable military [Is there a turn number missing?] • Easy target modifier now takes trade routes into effect and reduces the impact accordingly if the player is trading with them [What is this 'easy target modifier?' ] • Ships In ZOC diplomatic modifier takes into account how many ships are in the ZOC. If it's just 1, it tends to let that slide.

[What is this 'ZOC diplomatic modifier?'

Considering they have only released one map of many, I’d say the game has done quite well for an EA game. It’s kept me busy for over 800 hours and I’m still not bored. I was bored of Citadel after about 60 hours.

Servers have died off because people need more content. Adding two small dungeons isn’t enough to keep most people hooked. I like starting fresh as different factions, trying different class types, playing on different servers with different gameplay and the best fantasy RP I’ve ever seen. Another thing that makes this game so awesome is the map design. Exploring the current map took me forever and there is so much more to come if they plan on releasing all the maps you see at the start. Another reason is many people was on the hype train in the beginning when it was poorly optimized. They have come miles since the days when you couldn’t harvest or use melee without major desync.

It still needs work but I have faith this game will be running smoother than a babies butt on release day. I don’t think Citadel was meant to be a game you put many hours into. Dark and Light is a much better game for people who want the most out of their buck and can enjoy it as a solo player or a house. I would recommend Citadel but DnL is in a league of its own and with this dev team, it has the potential to be the best survival RP game out there and possibly run with the big boys in the fantasy mmorpg world.

The hype would be pretty good but they still need to finish more optimization. All I hear is people complaining about the loading screen. In its current state, without a SSD, it’s going to take some patience. It’s a huge map to load with a ton of creatures and bases. I have a SSD so it takes me about 40 seconds to load.

If having to wait 5 minutes is a game breaker, those people can move on. Start the game and make a cup of coffee or a sandwich. This isn’t a game you beat. It’s made to keep you busy for many hours. Too many people have become accustomed to instant gratification and hand holding. I’m a old school mmorpg player so it’s refreshing to actually use your brain to figure things out and a high difficulty doing so. Now I rarely die unless the game crashes.

I can typically get to 60 with zero deaths but that all came with learning the game. I think that is always going to be the case with this type of game.

I tried the busy server, it felt like everything was crowded lots of cool people but lots of people without the patience for noobs and yes pvpers, destroying all our newbish progress. I actively moved away from that. I didn't want to have to compete for spots or space, or worry about pvp or if someone else beat me to the vendors, mined my good spots etc.

To compete against the crazy old houses who are light years ahead.I don't care for that experience. So for those that love the bustle of busy servers they gather together. For those that love to small group / loner experience it makes more sense to actively seek out less populated servers, where they can make their mark at their pace without too much outside interference.

So even if official servers force people together by pruning low pop servers, the unofficial will always fill that niche that some players WANT. In short the people playing on a server with barely anyone else do so by choice, that is how they want to play, don't take that away from them. • • • • • • •. I have posted quite a bit to the ‘Dark And Light’ and ‘DnL’ Reddits. After reading so many negative reviews on Steam by people who barely put 10 hours in, I had a hard time understanding what their problem was. I’m not usually this vocal about a video game until DnL, I wasn’t much of a gamer.

I tend to try a lot of RPG, MMORPG and survival but get bored after I beat it or in the first 40-60 hours. I haven’t been this hooked to a game since the days of vanilla EverQuest and WoW back in the early to mid 2000’s. I feel like I’m going to be hooked all over again every time they put out a new map as long as they keep it fresh with some new creatures and dungeons. I like starting over anyways so I plan on playing a lot until something better comes a long. I just hope others feel the same. It’s a decent game single player but for me, the voice RP has been golden.

Unfortunately both of the RP servers I play on are dead as well but I know they will be back eventually. • • • • • • •. I think the choice of server matters most for new players. And there is no way to know what the right choice for someone is until they have some experience with the game. And some people only give it one shot and then move on. Large population PVP server is a massively different experience than Low Pop PVP, is a very different experience than Large or small pop PVE. Boosted servers are very different than official.

The game is not optimized to play solo. You absolutely can, but its clearly geared towards groups. I almost wish the game had some sort of flowchart-matchmaking system that asks the players many questions and then makes server recommendations. Questions like, do you prefer small tribes or large tribes Do you like fighting other players? Even if that means you risk losing things you have built/tamed?

Do you want the as intended experience or do you need things to progress faster than that? As of right now there are precious few server rule customization options within official, so unofficial servers fill those niches. Having an array of official would be beneficial. Maybe some servers with caps on the number of houses encouraging competing alpha factions. On the flip side you could have servers that limit the number of players in a house forcing the server into a many scattered small tribe situation.

Maybe an upfront server setting that increases decay based on the number of structures present on the map, so if its light on structures stuff stays around indefinitely, but if its getting too built up things become harder to maintain until it becomes impossible to keep expanding. Maybe that structure limit could be tied to houses so there is a finite limit to how much one tribe can build giving other up and coming tribes more room to eventually 'catch up' and 'be competitive' • • • • • • •. I started on a high pop server PVP server and had a lot of fun for well over 300 hours but have been enjoying the solo life for quite awhile now. It’s amazing what you can do by yourself with a 194 Bahamut, 3 - 140+ horses and a high level deathstalker as added defense and carry weight. I built a large stone base, kennel and a 10x10x14 Manor in less than two weeks. Living close to ore really helps but I see what you mean. Since I’ve been going solo I haven’t done much invasion farming due to the lack of mythicals.

Nor have I done any dungeon runs. Not many people have the patience to solo tame a mythic and wait around for 12 hours. Also having a house makes mat grinding much more bearable. I’ve found it to be a fun game either way. I enjoy the voice RP most of all. I’ve always been a fan of twitch RP streams but never found a game immersive enough to try until DnL. It has a lot of potential for all types of players but I think it will come in waves.

With the new Ark DLC out now, I see it being slow for awhile but with more updates and especially a new map, DnL will be popular again. I’ve seen a lot of old players coming back and loving all the changes. If I was a PVP guy, I’d join a Chaos server or Knight 1 is pretty good too. Almost always 15 people online. Not sure about PVE.

When I joined Wyrmslayer 1 it was pretty popping but seems most people have done all there is to do and are just awaiting the next map. Not sure if the next map will be DLC or part of the full release but I can see DnL doing just as well as Arks DLC, maybe even better. The idea of merging servers sounds like a good idea right now but when they release the next map, they might actually need all of those servers.

The game was pretty packed the first month or two. It’s died off quite a bit but they will be back. With this dev team, I’m pretty confident they be releasing DLC quite frequently. • • • • • • •. Considering Citadel was quite polished but had little actual content I think DnL would do better than it's first few EA release months. A lot of the very buggy and game breaking issues have been fixed since then. A bit of optimization has smoothed out some very rough edges though just as many remain and are created with each patch.

It still has very far to go for a complete experience for the majority of people who can't look past what an early access title is. The only change is the initial buy in might have been higher and the drop off slower since the community reps have been doing better at talking with the players on issues. Right now 400 or so hours in and loving it despite some serious EA drawbacks. But just like Scantlandel said, this game has tons of potential. I'm sure those that have stuck around see it and can't wait for what is to come.

I can’t wait for the next map. I hope they have a large selection of weapons and armor as well so people don’t feel the need to rely on tames for killing everything. Adding dungeons and raid areas would be pretty sick too. I’m with you man. Pretty excited to see where the devs take this game. They aren’t messing around with patches about every two weeks.

Snail is on top of things too. The only patch I’ve not liked was the knock back mechanic patch and they took it out within a week or so. That’s a good sign they are listening to their fan base and helping that awesome group of Asian devs make this the best game it can be. Fantasy survival RPG.

Such a great idea for a game. It’s on track to be better than Ark if you consider where Ark was after a few months and where it’s at now. Way more immersive though IMO. Dino armies and guns ruined that game for me.

Also the character models look goofy as hell. • • • • • • •. Flawed assumption in the context you have in your title. DnL's rush was only a few weeks. It already had secured a release date when Citadel announced. However, what is the case is that DnL is rushed.

Everything about it has been rushed, but it is catching up now. Snail hasn't been heavily promoting DnL either. DnL is down to pre-alpha hype levels, but with an actual game people can check out.

Finally, Citadel hasn't died. Development is ongoing, and it has done very well for the small studio that produced it.
