Here crypto currency uses Blake256 14-rounds algorithm for mining and there is a cgminer fork () already available, though currently only getwork is supported and not stratum. The cgminer for Decred GPU mining is available below, compiled for 64-bit Windows, ready for mining solo or on some of the mining pools for DCR.
This cgminer works on both AMD and Nvidia GPUs as the currently available ccMiner forks from tpruvot and sp do not yet have support for Decred even though they do have support for Blake256 14-rounds algorithm. If this fork of cgminer produces too many rejects when mining this new altcoin then it is not worth and you should optimze and beta-test the code first before publishing any releases. I’m a c/c++ programmer myself, although I’m not into forking software for mining, but I have to say that there are many incompetent coders out there who don’t know how to write fast and reliable code. Rejects are mostly caused by hardware errors.
And hw errors are the result of operating the hardware in an inproper fashion. If this is about operating a GTX 750 then you have to know the gfx card inside out, in order how to properly access and execute the GPU’s internal hardware-built functions and take the most performance out of it. We already had those problems with cgminer back in the days of LTC mining with Gridseed until a version of cgminer came out in 2014 which was able to mine Litecoins using Gridseed hardware in the most efficient way with only a few rejects and hw errors. In other words, coders usually need their time to figure out how to wirte proper source to properly operate a certain target hardware. You can’t build common code for all gfx cards or all hardware device. Every hardware is different and requires its special software and drivers to use in the best and most efficient way. In the case of DCR I suggest to wait until an optimzed or better version of cgminer is forked by someone out there.
